allow us to set the scene.

The year is 1920. The Twenties are Roaring…

Strolling through bustling Antwerp, you can enjoy the activity that the Summer Olympics brought with it. The setting sun kisses the Scheldt water. Time to leave the Quays and head towards the Grote Markt via the Suikerrui. There is always something to experience there.

Het Steen just behind you, your attention is suddenly drawn by a line of seductive charleston music, followed by the tasteful smell of grilled meat. Both come from a cozy looking restaurant with a large street terrace and a British-inspired interior in which brown and gold touches predominate. Later this would be called 'vintage' or 'retro', but of course you don't know that.

You are shown to your table – along a wall adorned with portraits of Gloria Swanson and Douglas Elton Ulman – and offered a glass of bubbly, Prohibition or not!

The menu is tempting. Salivating. French-Belgian cuisine with brochette and skewer dishes as a specialty.

Our cozy Cocktail Cellar is your underground haven for one or more drops. It is also the ideal space for limited groups of 20 to 30 people, who can 'gather together' for a bachelor party, birthday, cocktail / dinner party etc. - on Friday & Saturday or the evening before a public holiday.
